Amidst the madness of Jokic's insane performance, the Nugget's overtime quietly slips under the radar as a near-all-timer itself with 24 points on possession-perfect efficiency.
The title sums it up well enough. The Nuggets are one point off of tying the record (that I could find, at least) number of points scored in a single OT by one team with 24, narrowly missing the record of 25 scored by the New Jersey Nets on November 30th, 1996. This came on possession-perfect efficiency, going 7/8 on FGA (the only missed shot was a Jokic 3 that turned into an offensive rebound for AG -> Jokic-assisted MPJ dunk). They also went perfect on free throws, making all 7. Funnily enough, they scored more points in OT than they did in the entire 4th quarter.
The Suns themselves put up a valiant effort with 16 points, but it just wasn't enough to stop the Nuggets in the clutch. I swear they have another gear when it counts, it's just amazing.
