Life beyond NCEA results

Congratulations to everyone who did the NCEA exam! Irrespective of the results you faced it with confidence! Well done you!

As someone who had dyslexia and struggled in school , I didn’t get the course I initially applied for , I reapplied after a degree, did medicine and went on to do MBA and run a heathcare company.

It doesn’t really matter what degree you study or which university or polytechnic you get into. Don’t be disheartened by your results for any reason.

You can study law or medicine and become a successful lawyer or doctor but looking back at it , it’s still just a degree in your life. Your career doesn’t define your life! Being honest to yourself with a caring attitude will go a long way!

When I did my medicine , I graduated with honours but still went to do my evening motel cleaning work to pay the tuition fee as a student. Please do something what you’re really passionate about doing. Be positive and each and everyone of you here is going to be fine. Take care of yourself and work towards your goals!
