How many house fires result in a rebuild?

I saw in the news another report about a house fire in Auckland and thought to myself, I only see an article on house fires every few weeks, surely we have more than a dozen or so major fires every year? So I looked up stats and found this report by BRANZ. They say there are 3730 fires a year (page 4) but don't specify the extent of the damage to the house (a.k.a. was it a write off). My question is, how many house fires result in a home being written off and rebuilt rather than undergoing minor repairs?
