LGBTQ in the nursing field

i’m currently 18 (F) and going into college as a nursing major. i’m a lesbian, and i’m just very worried on how other nursing majors would judge. i’ve heard that the nursing field is just like high school with gossip and stuff…. are nursing majors bitchy? would i get weird remarks? i’d just hate to be in classes with people like that
