Free Home in Leyawiin for starting mage characters

This may be common knowledge for many veteran players, but I'm sure that newer players need to know that containers labeled "sack", "grain sack" or something alike never respawn. And by never, I mean 99% of cases. So, how can we be sure? Today I'm trying to sell you on using the Leyawiin Mages Guild as a makeshift player home.

Basement (pictures 1, 2 and 3): all sacks (three near the bed, two by the middle pillar, leaning on a shelf, three in the south-western corner); bonus safe containers — a lectern and a covered pot. Total containers: 10

Lobby (pictures 4, 5, 6 and 7): all sacks (two in each of the side-rooms immediately to the left and right of the entrance, two behind the alchemist's desk, three in the pantry near the dining area); bonus container — wooden chest that contains skooma. Total containers: 10

2nd Floor North (picture 8): only one open-top grain sack

2nd Floor South (pictures 9, 10 and 11): bedroom — none; study — all sacks (three near the small shelf at the southern wall), small chest under a small shelf to the right of the entrance; storage area — all sacks (one between two barrels, seven under the window, one on top of the shelf, one behind a lonely barrel), the other containers here are respawning and contain food and clutter. Total containers: 14

3rd floor North: not tested because it's Dagail's room and all containers are marked as owned in my game (it's probably OOO that's doing this)

Summary: if you want to use Leyawiin Mages Guild Hall as a player house, you need only join the Mages Guild. This home is a little walk from the fast travel point, but you get the opportunity to hit the shops to sell loot on your way there. Many respawning containers here provide food, which is great for alchemy. If you want to permanently delete some items, like the clutter you will empty all of these sacks of, you can store it in one of the respawning cupboards in the lobby. Two of them just happily eat any item, without even replacing it with something else. Al long as you use only the containers listed here, you have a free player home with a free bed, abundant food, an alchemist vendor, two spell vendors, a magic item recharging service and 25 CONTAINERS that can store anything your heart desires!

Get it now while it's hot! 😄

And now, for the engagement: have you ever used a random basement full of sacks as your player house?
