tips + dishes

big olive garden lover here and i just discovered this subreddit so i wanted to ask some questions because i work retail but not food service industry. are cash tips really better vs on the card? i never carry cash so im never able to tip with it. other controversial topic is leaving your dishes. i always stack same dishes with each other and i never know if that's actually helpful or not?
