What's the creepiest, scariest, or most unsettling town or neighbourhood in Ontario?

By this I don't mean any places that are "haunted", or crime-ridden, or in extreme poverty. I'm talking about places that have genuinely scared you, or places that have given off some kind of an "uncanny valley" feeling. Sundown towns, cult communities, Canadian versions of Gary, Indiana, etc. Would love to hear them!
