should I get a Osmo Pocket 3?

I really want to take high quality videos of my travels and loved ones and the Osmo Pocket 3 is of the right size and it has an 1 inch sensor so I heard good things about it's low light performance. I also like that it shoots in d-log? so that one can do post processing on it.

That being said, it's not cheap. I also heard some high end smartphones now come with 1 inch sensors too. So I'm a bit on the fence now. I guess I can get a gimbal for the smartphone but that's pretty bulky. If I don't get a gimbal then I wonder how much difference it would make to my videos...
