My mom had an ileostomy

Hi all - new here (34m) and reading through a few of the posts but feeling a bit overwhelmed. My mom (67f) just had an ileostomy and everything is new to her and myself caring for her. I was just hoping to hear some tips and tricks for someone just starting out. As well as tips on caring for her. She just had the surgery about a week ago and is still in hospital recovering. I am trying to prepare what to expect when she is discharged. Please let me know if I need to elaborate on anything. Thank you!
