Strong Recovery, Bad Readiness Score
Does anyone else get frustrated with low readiness score being tied to high activity? I am training for a marathon and completed a long run yesterday. Following that long run, I completed a full recovery routine, including an early dinner and bed time which was reflected in a low resting heart rate and really high HRV. I had super strong recovery from that run.
Oura still gave me a very low readiness score due to previous day activity and recovery time. Shouldn't strong recovery (e.g. 8+ hrs of sleep, low resting HR and high HRV) be a reflection of improved fitness? Will Oura and subsequently my readiness scores ever adjust to my newer levels of higher activity? Or will I forever have readiness under 80 because of increased activity from marathon training?
