Working through remote access (TeamViewer or similar)

I am traveling to another country and would like to continue working. I can leave my everyday computer on at home with a remote access program, such as TeamViewer.

Do you think I could continue working this way, through remote access, or do they have a way to detect it through Chrome (perhaps by the mouse movement or something like that)?
