A sincere doubt

Hi guys, I would like to know if when you fail tasks to be a reviewer, the user can no longer work on tasks as a CB. I was deactivated from a project, and they told me that I failed a test task. If I had known that it would prevent me from working as a CB, I wouldn't have even tried. :/
