Overclocking my TV?

I very recently learned (from LinusTechTips) that it is possible to get a higher refresh rate from your monitor if you have an Nvidia gpu, I did some research online about it and I never found anything on whether it's possible on a TV, I Have a Hisense 50N7 4K TV. Is it possible to overclock it past 60fps? Is it possible that it can damage my TV at all? (I've heard higher resolutions can affect overclocking performance, so if it helps my target is 1080p and not 4K. Although I may experiment with it for shits and giggles later if it works and I feel comfortable.
