Is it normal to faint ?

When I was cleaning my helix (which I got pierced yesterday) I almost fainted, I felt dizzy and my legs were sore so I laid on the floor, I almost threw up and my stomach was hurting. I don’t know if it’s normal since I’ve never got pierced before. Can anyone help?
