Can I save this plant with only one leaf?

Being gifted with this pot of plant (philodendron I figure?). The pot has drainage and I started watering it once a week. I placed it near my west facing window getting plenty of indirect sunlight. It has only one leaf left and the stem is greyish. I've been misting it every day, what else can I do to make it happy?
