Should I get the surgery?

Hello, first time posting on this page or Reddit in general, I am a 24 y/o male very healthy, no other medical issues. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me in the span of 4 months, the first time was a lot of pain and a lot of shortness of breath. This time was a lot less painful and almost had no shortness of breath. Anyway, the surgeon just came into my room and basically said that it will happen again and he would go through with surgery, he made it sound like it would be an easy 30 minute procedure and I would stay at the hospital for a few days and then be totally back to normal. How was anyone else’s experience with the surgery? Would you recommend going through with it or not? Thanks.
