Can’t catch a HoHo to save my life.

I have done seven raids and outside of the first one. I have not been able to catch these suckers. They keep hitting away my balls, moving up right as I throw it and breaking out of excellent throws with golden berries. Anybody else having any problems? It’s driving me nuts.
