Getting some random attention in Poland as a Southeast Asian

Sorry this is a bit personal but I just want to be clarified because I got confused somehow. I just want to ask from the perspective of a Polish on how they see Southeast Asians, physically. Does majority of Polish people still kind of surprise in a way seeing a Southeast Asian feature?

I get attention when walking down the street quite often than not. From kids (surprised) with reaction from simple wave and hello to blank stares. In response, I just casually wave back. I also noticed it from few adults (subtle stares).
