2003 Nissan Frontier or keep saving in get something else?

I got someone that's wanting to sell me their 2003 Nissan Frontier XE for around $3000 - $3500.

214,000 miles

It seems good. Only cosmetic damage afaik

I'm wanting to know from car gurus in poverty finance. I'm thinking of over the long term. Is it better to get this truck or keep saving in get something else?

I don't necessarily need any vehicle at this moment. I can get around okay but eventually I want to get one.
