Glucose Test Results!

So I am currently 22w4d pregnant and this morning I did the 2 hour glucose test. I fasted for 10 hours - no food, no water! As instructed.

They took my blood when I arrived, I drank the 75g of solution, waited for 1 hour and they took my blood again, then I waited a further 1 hour and the final blood was taken.

Side note - After reading some horrors stories on here regarding the glucose test I was really nervous about potentially fainting/vomiting etc! The test was actually okay for me, even the solution wasn’t so bad (lemon flavoured) I read my book whilst I was there and left pretty happy, just super hungry and thirsty!!

I was home within ten minutes and making myself breakfast, I suddenly felt really shakey and hot, also had a headache come on. But once I ate my breakfast I slept for 1 hour and I woke up feeling okay!

My results just came through though and the reading for the final blood (2 hours after drinking the solution) seems super low!! I will give my dr a call tomorrow and see what he says ofcourse, but my mind is in overdrive right now and wondered if anyone else had results so low??!

First Reading was 80 (normal range 74-109 mg/dL)

Second Reading was 89 (normal range 80-180 mg/dL)

Third Reading was 43 (normal range 80-140 mg/dL)
