Battle Jackets

I follow that jackets for battle sub. And it’s cool, there’s a lot of inventive and talented shit in there, but so many of them have the worst bands. I have to know, as a person born in the 80s, why are people listening to Korn, Limp Biscuit, Chavelle, or any of those bands anymore? I thought the consensus was in, they were trash terrible sellout piece of shit talentless bands that deserved to be stuck in the 90s forever as a joke of music history? Seriously the Korn and Limp Biscuit thing pisses me off the most. These are bands that had no shame in courting the mainstream, supported big labels, took everything they possibly could from their fans, and commodified everything they could. They’re the standard bearers of consumerism and it’s not like they have a history of philanthropy to make up for it. Not to mention their music fucking sucks. But I often see these bands and bands like these on jackets next to DK and Bad Religion and Germs and stuff. Sorry to rant, but what the fuck. This isn’t gatekeping, this is concern for my punk brothers and sisters’ sanity.
