Got my first pair of Docs!

I recently got my first pair of Doc marten platforms and I’ve worn them a couple of times but every time I seem to get blisters on my feet. I’m someone who walks a lot and comfort is my priority when it comes to shoes. What can I do to make them more comfortable to wear cause I don’t want to have another pair of shoes lying around collecting dust in my closet :(
