Puppy biting... HELP

I am having a difficult time teaching my 12 week old Shiba Inu to stop biting or jumping on people for attention.

I don't want to be physical toward her (e.g. rolled up newspaper, bopping her on the nose, etc.), but this is getting to be ridiculous.

She's yet to understand the words "no" or "off."
