Changing the Hayya visa to a residence permit

I am in Qatar on a Hayya visa right now and wonder if I manage to find a job here (already got an offer unofficially), would be possible to change my status from the Hayya visa to a residence permit? Does anyone have any idea or experience with how this process works?
