Can someone please explain to me why Radiohead fans hate on Coldplay?

This is a genuine question, since I never understood the rift between the two bands and fanbases. Sure, Coldplay isn’t as sophisticated as Radiohead, but that doesn’t mean they make terrible music (though I would much rather listen to older Coldplay songs compared to recent Coldplay).

Downvote me if you want, I don’t care, but I’m just trying to learn more about this subject matter. 😄
