Meet my first scug, the Slime! (OC)

The Slime exists in an alternate dimension, right before Rivulet's campaign. This timeline has the slime mold taking over Shaded Citadel, while parts of Pebbles' have fallen into memory crypts. One part in particular, contained the genomes and information to create a purposed organism- in this case, a slugcat.

The Slime starts in the Mold, a new name for Shaded Citadel, specifically in Memory Crypts, (Which is now called Goop Plains) crawling out of the part of Pebbles' that the slime mold took over and was able to produce the Slime.

Let's call the Slime 'Slimecat' for now, to make things a bit easier.

Slimecat has base survivor stats, and can eat the corpses of creatures for half their worth. The world consists of a mix of survivor spawns and hunter spawns, and you are even able to die to some herbivores, given what Slimecat is made of. However, it's not all downsides. Slimecat is able to duplicate objects with their slime mold, given they have a copy of the item they want to dupe in their other hand. If Slimecat tried to dupe an object off of an already duped object, there's a chance for it to turn into a normal, edible slime mold. Slime mold will only fill up a fourth of a food pip.

Slimecat has no karma whatsoever. You are unable to earn passages, and when sleeping, it will only show the art of Slimecat sleeping with the continue button and the menu button. To pass karma gates, you "hack" them, by seeping into the cracks of the gate and forcing them open, which the karma gate will remain open for the entirety of your playthrough. Similar to Monk's gates. Upon visiting an Echo, you'll notice that they aren't actually... there. Instead, you have the option to violently explode where the echo SHOULD be, spreading your biomass and further infecting the region. After violently expelling your slime mold, you will be sent back to the Goop Fields, ready to find another echo spot and spread your biomass.

Upon entering a region you've infected, you'll notice a distinct lack of enemies- very few remain, and there are patches of Proto Long Legs reskinned to look like slime mold, eating and picking off the few remaining creatures. Along with the option to spread your biomass where echoes are, you can also infect Pebbles' and Moon's chamber, reskinning all Long Leg's in Pebbles' to look like slime mold.

P.S., upon entering a region you've infected, its name will change to "The Mold".

If you want, I can explain even more in the comments~! I'll tell you guys about the different endings Slimecat can encounter~
