2022 XSE - Brakes and Pot holes

Hey there community, I wanted to reach out to see if anyone else had this experience and if there was a solution or button that I need to turn on or off.

Whenever I’m driving and applying the brakes and either hit a pothole or a change in the pavement, that would normally feel like a bump in the road, the dashboard will flash some lights and the brakes feel like they stutter as if they can’t catch the brake discs. Is this a result of ABS brakes or is this some kind of malfunction?
