How to i smooth out the tires

With what house items can i use to smooth the tires of my cars so it can drift, it was only 20 bucks and isn’t really a DRIFT car but my friend had the same and he drifted it. I also drifted it but it wasnt like a acc rc drift car.

Im assuming that the reason drift cars acan drift is bcuz they dont grip onto the floor and just slide.( i saw it somewhere)
