Is rdr 2 online in 2025 still worth it?

Me and my were looking for a game to play together and currently we are indecided between rdr 2(because is in sale at 15€) and a way out. Can you tell me if it's worth it and what there is to do? And I was wandering if rdr2 online is just something like gta online but set in the far west (I've already played the story on the playstation with ps plus and now I would be getting it on pc and me and my friend are just looking for something to play together while having fun)
