How much is too much information?

Lately I've been looking for jobs directly from company website career pages in my home country, at least that way I know the website is authentic.

But lately I'm seeing a weird pattern of company wanting me to include some of information that I found quite invasive, like my ID number and relatives identity (usually mother or my siblings).

Am I overthinking or should I be wary? I know these information might be important for insurance but I mean do I have to hand it now when I don't even landed an interview yet?
