What's your controversial retro gaming opinion?

Let me get started: E.T. for the Atari 2600 isn't a bad game

This opinion doesn't come from adult me, but from 10-year old me. I owned and loved that game back in the day.

I loved everything about it: the cartridge art, the opening screen bitmap (very rare in the Atari), the adventure-like nature of the game (you could actually beat the game by taking ET back home) and I LOVED how I could stretch ET's neck (I'd sometimes just keep stretching the neck back and forth for fun).

This is literally a happy childhood memory. Couldn't care less about critics, didn't even know people didn't like the game as a kid.
