Found a dubia on the lid of my enclosure

So, yesterday I was feeding my dragon and when I opened my dubia bin I found a little nymph had somehow managed to crawl onto the underside of the lid. I have a mesh fabric over the underside of the lid to prevent any gnats or any other bugs to get in. I just knocked the little guys back down into the enclosure and wiped down the sides to help reduce them having enough grip to crawl up the bin. I also added a thing of packaging tape around the enclosure to create a slick surface so that they fall down after a certain point. Has anyone else done this and had successor any issues?
