Best way to apply for jobs.

My entire team got laid off and I'm looking for new opportunities.

My question to everyone is what's the best way to apply to jobs? I've been spamming all easy applys on LinkedIn it feels like it does not very much.

I've had other people say to customize my resume, one said to do it using AI. I've read other people say that's not efficient and takes to much time. I've seen others say to do both. Customize for 1-2 jobs a day that are ideal companies, manually apply to a few decent looking jobs, and then spam apply to easy applies.

When I was casually looking at jobs I would connect with the hiring manager or recruiters and try to schedule the first call myself and that seemed to bypass the need for any resume bullshit. That's unreliable though, I've noticed a ton less people accepting connection requests over the past year. Also I can't just wait and hope that happens.

I've got 4 years of account management/CSM, lie 2 years of BDR, 2 years of BDR team lead, and 1.5 years as an AE in SMB. Not sure how relevant that is but throwing it out there just to add more info.
