Fully integrated into Apple ecosystem and considering a switch to Galaxy

As the title suggests, I'm pretty integrated into the Apple ecosystem. I've switched back and forth between Apple and Samsung over the years but switched to iPhone about 10 years ago to have access to iTunes on my phone. Now I have a macbook, iPad, AirPods, and an Apple Watch. But I've been getting increasingly frustrated with my iPhone - I even upgraded from the 14 to the 15 in August in hopes that some of those issues would be resolved. Some were - but traded for others.

I'm strongly considering switching to the Galaxy S24 Ultra - I love the idea of having a built-in stylus to use - but don't love how BIG it is. Though size isn't a huge concern and wouldn't ultimately sway my decision.

My biggest concern is the "culture shock" of going from Apple to Android. Missing the "blue bubble", missing FaceTime, missing Apple Fitness (I have a multi-year streak going for completing monthly "challenges" lol), missing access to Apple Music. Granted - I don't plan to get rid of my other Apple products (iPad, Mac, etc) so I wouldn't lose out on these entirely.

I'd love to hear from longtime Apple users who switched - how was the adjustment period? Do you still miss the things you thought you'd miss? Are there any apps you use specifically to mimic your Apple IOS experience? How is Android Auto compared to Apple CarPlay?

Or from longtime Samsung users - what are some of the customization apps you use to tailor the experience? What are some apps for which you prefer the Google version over the Samsung version?

Edit to add: a major reason I’m considering the switch is because I cannot log into the Instagram app on my iPhone. I had too many log in attempts on my last phone, and I think IG flagged me. I can log in on my iPad and on the cheap android tracphone I have, but not my iPhone. (I’ve done all of the possible troubleshooting things and none of them have worked). I operate in IG quite a bit for my business and need to be able to access it. I got a cheap tracphone specifically to be able to access the IG app, but the camera is garbage and carrying two phones is annoying.
