Galaxy S20+ Factory Reset Itself

This morning I woke up to my phone completely powered off, which I don't tend to do as its my alarm most mornings. when I powered it back on, I was greeted by the initialization screen prompting me to start setting up my device. I'm used to it occasionally restarting itself in the middle of the night around 3 am, but never has it gone and done a factory reset out of the blue like this.

Is this just something that occasionally happens after having the phone almost a year? or what could it be?
