Is it time?
How do you know when it's time to get a psychiatric service dog? The ppl from my previous post have been blunt yet helpful do bless you! I'm 10,turning 20 in 3 weeks.
I have depression, anxiety and some other undiagnosed problems which impact my day significantly enough that sometimes I can't go to school or even eat even when I want to. Those are just the simpler problems I face. I am also schooling in the UK and am scheduled to graduate next year. I also strongly believe I may have BPD, Autism and ADHD and am on the waiting list for the last 2.
Most of the comments spoke about the problem of Time (as I am still in uni) ,Money (as I am financialy dependent on my parents but due to the fact that the currency back home has reached an all time low, and the fact my parents are ableist and would most definitely not support me I can't rely on them for this), Patience, Pet friendly housing and the sorts.
Those are all great and important point that have been raised but I genuinely think that a service dog would be best for me, and training it would also be a good experience for me, as far As improving my physical engagement and sence of purpose and the likes go.
Or maybe I am delulu.
Chat, I need more advice... UK based advice.
