poodle (standard) or labrador?

hello! hope everyone is having a good day so far!

i wanted to come on here for some opinions on whether a standard poodle or lab would be better suited as a further sd! i have a washed gsd mix (due to dog reactivity) and have had great benefit with a lot of mobility tasks (mostly guiding, but some counter balance). i could see the only big difference is grooming wise, but i am a dog groomer so there would be no issues there 🙌

i only have groomed poodles so i don’t have much experience with them other than that. i have worked with pet labs before (grooming and training wise).

I don’t want another gsd lowkey 😫 any input is appreciated, and if you have breeder recommendations for either i would be so happy to hear them!

(do want to note though, dog won’t strictly be a sd, will also do other sports, so i am okay with having a more driven dog!)
