BDR doesn’t do anything but gets full salary
We have a BDR that does nothing. He makes one call at best per shift. But was hired to make 80? He makes almost double my salary. (More than the ASM’s). He has zero paint knowledge or phone etiquette. He doesn’t care to apply himself or to learn anything. His only reply is “I don’t know”. He comes in late and leaves early. He takes 2 hour long breaks twice a day. He doesn’t care if his pay is cut, he doesn’t care if he gets fired. He’s milking it because he knows nothing will happen. He also works for a roofing company and makes calls for them on the clock. He was an external hire. This has been going on for a full year. District management will not do anything about it.
What will happen if I report this to the anonymous tip line? Should I just turn a blind eye? I know it’s petty, but I’m pissed. If I had his work ethic, I would be fired because I’m an hourly.
