How to change SKU automatically when variant is changed?

Hi Everyone,

Is there a way to use meta-field / meta-object to automatically change a products SKU when the variant is changed?

For example: Product comes in small, medium and large

When customer clicks medium (variant), how can I show the SKU of the product change with it?
