Missing Shrimp Help?

We recently got a shrimp for our 5 gal fish tank. We can’t see him, but he’s a color that will blend in to our plants. How worried should we be?

We have a couple of assassin snails in there and a betta. I haven’t seen him for a bit and have gotten concerned.

Is it normal to have trouble seeing them sometimes?
