Unpopular take - Moza R5 is not a great bundle.

I need to upgrade my dying T150 and its plastic pedals so I need the whole bundle.

I don't have dedicated space for the simrig but I have made pedal stand below the table so I want to keep everything budget and family friendly as much as I can.

Anyway here are my thoughts:

I almost bought the R5 bundle which give or take is around 500 European Rupees but the SR-P lite pedals it comes with aren't too great as I have read in the reviews. On the other hand R3 bundle is 330 EUR also with the lite pedals. For the difference I could get the SR-P pedals which have the load cell brake pedal while buying R5 and the SR-P pedals brings you very close to R9 territory what made me realize that for now I could just buy R3 bundle and see how it fits me and even if I need the better pedals because spending now 330 vs 520 is quite some difference.

For now the most sensible upgrade path would be R3 bundle > SR-P pedals > if necessary R9 or R12 wheelbase afterwards.

I understand I wouldn't probably need an upgrade later if I get the R5 and SR-P pedals but I think it would make more sense to get better pedals first than getting a bit stronger wheelbase wheelbase in the beginning but still needing the pedals afterwards.

Feel free to shatter my post. I have probably missed something important here. I am not a Fanatec fan and Moza offers seem better at least in my part of the world.
