tips for two-handed Character?

tried and I struggled even at novice difficulty, stamina depeletes in 3 swings, it takes so long to attack i get beaten to up before i hit target. and health is so low at the startz if i Level up health then inventory capacity is never enough, cant carry anything expect my own gear, also never enough stamina its always at bottom.

it was totally unplayable, but I really want to be badass knight with longsword in skyrim. and i die at novice difficulty!! tried to play for few days thinking i would get better and leveling up would help, but it only got worse. two handed Character unplayable or am i missing something and there are tips what should i do? I always play legendary difficulty and want to set high difficulty. but i die at novice...
