Case managing is killing this field for me
As a new CF, case managing and being responsible for the borderline inevitable additional academic needs (that divert from speech/language only) that arise in my elementary aged students is killing me.
My school is largely underdeveloped so I know that frustration contributes to how I feel, but in considering another school next year, I'm not sure if I even want to do elementary again. Which sucks because 2-5 grades are my absolute favorite.
My hot take is that we should need be case managers. All IEPs should be academic, as speech and language have to impact academics anyways to even qualify.
Feel like I'm drowning in my misery here lol
Edit: anyone know schools in Georgia that have IEP teams and don't require speech - only IEPs lol
