Finally deleted X

For context I live in the UK

Today I finally deleted X and just want to spark a discussion about X in general.

My main concerns in why I deleted it- - Full of bots - People retweeting “News” that has 0 sources, even Elon was retweeting stuff that was obviously not true or misconstrued to show a certain POV.

The real dissent i to complete echo chamber nonsense on X has really picked up in the last 3 months or so, probably because Elon is now so heavily involved in Politics.

Don’t get me wrong the community notes and most the changes Musk has done were great. But when you’re on profiles such as @inevitablewest (or something like that) they create a profile have 100k’s of followers within days and tweet stuff, mainly about UK politics that are just daft as long as you’re able to look passed the bias.

For example, the current petition for another election being construed so it’s absolutely inevitable that we should go to another election and has bots retweeting it or replying to it.

TL;DR- X is a cesspool of both wing media bots (mainly right) and I’m fed up of tweets not providing sources
