Funny little paradox

I was just reading ashes of man, and one of the lines right after his discussion with the emperor “… or in what age you are reading these words…” and started thinking about it. Look at it with a speculative fiction lense, and he REALISTICALLY could be talking to us from the future within the bounds of this book universe

With it being set so far in the future and Had being the quiets pawn (?) him writing this account and us reading it in the “past” is essentially him telling us a story through time

I know it’s a book and it’s fiction, just a fun little trippy perspective to make the book series even better
