Epidural Lipomatosis

Hi all…

I have been diagnosed with this, causing numbness and tingling in my stumps (legs amputated in ‘73).

Saw Orthopedic who has referred me to a Spinal Surgeon and an Endocrinologist.

A surgeon I get-although I am absolutely NOT interested in surgery but why an endocrinologist??? I have no idea how they could be involved.

Ortho couldn’t give me an answer as to why this has occurred.
