At home Euthanasia

My childhood dog is probably going to have to be euthanized soon. Does anyone have any experience with having an at home euthanasia in the area for less than $350? We have plans for his remains so we don’t need any of those services. Just trying to make it peaceful for him instead of taking him to the vet where he hates to be
