Season 2 theories and findings SPOILERS!!!!! (obviously)

It was clear the overarching theme of Season 2 was gambling and how they were basically gambling. Prime example being the episode “One More Game”.

Some findings, in the last season the phone number iirc was 034-010, but in season 2 it was 456-010. The first three numbers are from the previous winners of the games?

Theories about betrayal and morally complex characters. Player 001 was the frontman aka il-ho, however he may have a good side to him. In the last few episodes it was revealed that the captain of Jun-ho’s group was actually evil. This captain may have been appointed by the frontman in order to save Jun-ho from his shooting before. Since they are brothers this may be valid, also before Jun-ho was shot his brother offered him a spot as a manager/soldier. I don’t think that this is a coincidence at all and that the frontman may resign and try to help the players even with his tragic betrayal in the final minutes of s2 episode 7. He clearly said the words “I am sorry” meaning that he understood what he was doing and that he could actually be sorry.

The female guard could also swith sides, due to her being a victim to her coworker’s harassment and the fact she thought she was going to kill bad people who couldn’t live without the opportunity showed that she has a moral stance after she tried to kill the players fast and without pain. It was also revealed her brother was missing, he could be missing from the games meaning she is trying to get revenge.
