I disagree with all the Tomlin hate
I suspect that most people will simply downvote, but here is why I disagree with all the Tomlin hate: We lost 4 of the hottest teams right now (one of them twice). I know it sucks to lose. I am as disappointed as the next guy, but I’m trying to look at this objectively. They are very good teams. We have some significant holes on our team which need to be solved for. I would argue we have one borderline-great WR who has “issues” both on and off the field. We have a QB who is not consistent.
But before we lost to these 4 good teams, we were somehow 10-3 despite the issues we had. Mike Tomlin was in consideration for Coach of the Year.
I truly think that Mike Tomlin is one of the best coaches in the NFL. Every team is looking for the “next Mike Tomlin” for their franchise. It would be crazy to drop Mike Tomlin right now when so many teams are already looking for coaches. I think we’ve been fortunate to have few / great / long-term coaches on the Steelers (Noll/Cowher/Tomlin). I look to teams like the Browns and the Jets and I am so fortunate we aren’t perpetually stuck in a coaching revolving door.
