i did it!

i’m laying in bed reading through this subreddit and figured i’d also contribute. i did my bisalp today. 27F, no kids. no gas pain but overall i’m pretty sore and sleepy. my throat is feeling funny from the intubation. the tube also caused irritation inside my lip.

i was instructed not to do anything for 2 weeks - i was expecting 4, so i was planning on returning to work under light duty in 3 weeks. i’ve decided to just play it by ear.

i had retainers put in for my facial piercings (nostril, septum) but the anesthesiologist asked for me to remove them.

i asked for them to remove my Nexplanon as well. i don’t plan on using anything for my periods moving forward… i’ve been on everything and i’m tired.

i’m open to questions! it’s only day 1 so we’ll see.
